PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF REGIONAL OFFICE PREMISES FOR THE OFFICE OF THE AUDITOR GENERAL IN ARUA

                        BID NOTICE

 

  1. The Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development through the Third Financial Management and Accountability Programme (FINMAP III) has allocated funds to be used for construction of an office block to house the Offices of the Auditor General in Arua Municipality.
  2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above works.
  3.  Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domesticbidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.
  4.  Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
  5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX.200,000 (Uganda Shillings Two Hundred Thousand only) or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency using exchange rates published by Bank of Uganda on the date of purchase of the documents. The method of payment shall be by cash /EFT. Bidders who request for documents to be sent by courier will pay additional costs for courier services accordingly. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.
  6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before: 1500Hrs Local time on Friday 24 August 2018. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 45,000,000 (Uganda Shillings Forty Five Million only). Bid securities must be valid until 25Feb. 2019. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids shall be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) on 24 August 2018 at 1545 Hrs Local Time.
  7. There shall be a pre-bid meeting held on Thursday 02 August 2018 at address 8(d).
