I&M BANK CELEBRATES 50 YEARS OF SERVICE

Finance Minister Matia Kasaija presided over the 50th anniversary gala dinner at Kampala Serena hotel where he said the bank has demonstrated its dedication to innovation, customer satisfaction and community development.

“Your bank has played a vital role in shaping our country’s financial landscape, providing essential services and supporting numerous businesses and individuals,” said Kasaija.

The Minister said the bank is a trusted partner in the quest for economic development, adding that the bank’s focus on healthcare, education and environment is a demonstration of the commitment to the national development agenda.

I&M bank has raised its minimum paid-up capital to Shs 210 billion demonstrating its ability to remain financially stable and compliant with Bank of Uganda’s new enhanced capitalization programme.
