Minister of State for General Duties Hon. Henry Musasizi accompanied by the PSST Mr. Ramathan Ggoobi and his technical team appeared before Parliament Committee on Budget to present the National Budget Framework Paper for FY 2024/25 to 2028/29.
Minister of State for General Duties Hon. Henry Musasizi and Minister of State for Planning Hon Amos Lugoloobi accompanied by PSST Mr. Ramathan Ggoobi and his technical team appeared before Parliament Committee on Finance, Planning and Economic Development to discuss the Budget Framework Papers for ministry of Finance Planning and Economic Development(Vote 008) & Treasury Operations (Vote 130) for FY 2024/25.
In line with the performance Management in the public service for under the standing orders(2021), the ministry held a general staff meeting to review the performance of the ministry with focus on improving services delivery and attainment of the national development objectives. the minister of Finance Hon. Matia Kasaija chaired the meeting.
Minister of State for General Duties Hon. Henry Musasizi called upon Internal Auditors to shift from retrospective audit/compliance in order to remain relevant and also be able to provide more value to the organizations they serve.
PSST Mr. Ramathan Ggoobi said full implementation of electronic government procurement system (e-GP) is expected to generate significant efficiency gains & improve service delivery by reducing endemic delays in public sector procurement, reducing corruption & enhancing access to real time information.
